Can not wait to get my hands on this.

This is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. A multi-touch mouse.

The mouse is like the gateway to doing anything with a computer. For years I would chuck the apple included mouse in the trash for having only one button and buy a logitech multi-button, with wheel.

Then The Big A introduced the mighty mouse, Witch was even worse than the one button mouse. the tiny little ball on the top would work 25% of the time, had buttons on the side, where is the natural place people rest there thumb and pinky finger. That triggered many unwanted things to happen.

The multi touch functionality is proven to work in the trackpads, iPhone and iPod touch and works very well. Adding that same functionality to a mouse is pure genius. The best part is now left handed people can set up the mouse to work in the opposite direction. I know one left handed person that just ecstatic that finally some mouse has made it to the market that will work for them, In the same way it works for righties.

Great design of adding a better and faster workflow to the desktop. Can not wait to get my hands on this. I am hardly ever excited by some piece of hardware, like this. But after using multi touch this seems to make prefect since.

Great video here on the magic mouse (mid bottom, of page) : http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/

Wireless Reading Device. Do we really need this ?

A neat concept in an electronic reading device. Holds up to 3500 books. I would have to say one would need to be one heck of a book worm to buy this, as it not cheap. $499.00 for a device that does 2 things, displays text and pictures in grayscale only. ( no color ???? for $499 there should be color.) And has text to speech. (kind of like listening to an audio book. Anyone can check out an audio book for free at any US public library.)

If this was cheaper I could see how this might be an benefit for masses of every day consumers.

I Well be waiting for a major price drop before I buy one of these. (under $100.00) If your into books and reading and need a small library of reading material every where you go. Then this gadget may be for you.

This may be ideal for a university setting. As it could easy save space of the hundreds of books one needs to read to get an degree at any university.

My thinking is as an average reading consumer ; I can save $499, by going to a public library and checking out any book for free. Sure I will not be styling a trendy new gadget, but will be $499 dollars richer.
