I am that guy with the funny name.
In my first life I was a professional photographer. In my second life I started a multimedia studio. That studio began life by producing Flash Games and turned into Software company over the years.

My drive to make art continues with focus of producing my own tools with code. Along the journey others have jumped on to use these tools also. Where will this journey take us, no one knows. I do at least intend to enjoy the ride of finding out.

Machinarium

This is the best independent developer made game I've ever seen or played.

Machinarium is a puzzle / adventure game. The puzzles are a real challenge. The overall feel of the whole game is the same feeling I had when Myst was first released back in the early 1990's. I personally put this in the top 10 games ever played, It worth getting and playing. This game is can't miss for anyone that every enjoyed a great puzzle game.

DerBrill Multimedia today released AE 3 for runrev. With some amazing new commands like: aeChangeHeight, aeChangeWidth, aeChangeRect, aeChangeHScroll , aeChangeVScroll and a few others to an already valuable library.

added: I found out if your only upgrading from a past version it cost only $39 USD to upgrade. For That price I renew asap to the new version. After a day of using the new commands, It's worth not passing up. I use AE for mostly User experience and the new addtions work well for that.

This is pretty cool. how many times have you ever needed to write out formulas for documentation. This tool easily allows one to do that and best of all, Its free. It does write letters and stuff also. But many tools do that. The Math and science features are what is the nice deal here. and also the free price tag.

Minitube

A different way to watch you tube. Works with Mac & Linux , with windows build still in works. It's a pretty good app for what it does. Sometimes it's nice to watch something and browse the web at the same time without opening multiple browser windows.
