I am that guy with the funny name. In my first life I was a professional photographer. In my second life I started a multimedia studio. That studio began life by producing Flash Games and turned into Software company over the years.
My drive to make art continues with focus of producing my own tools with code. Along the journey others have jumped on to use these tools also. Where will this journey take us, no one knows. I do at least intend to enjoy the ride of finding out.
Two Brammo Enertia 100% electric motorcycles. Take a cross Country Tour Across America on just $5.00 each bike. That less than the cost of 1.2 gallons of gas.
The Brammo Enertia does not look like a plug in the wall electric bike, It looks like a like a gas powered motor cycle.
These two guys are traveling across the country. Charging there bikes where any one will give the 30 cent full charge. They have documented there journey with a website , tweeter and with many youtube videos.
More on the Brammo Enertia; The Battery Pack is a Lithium Iron Phosphate. With a life cycle of 2,000 charges. (In an average city setting use. that about 6-8 years worth of charges.) The Battery pack can be replaced. The Top speed on the current street bike is 60 mph /95+ KPH
They also make a higher performance bike that is currently not for sale. that hits 80 plus mph. Average range per charge is 42 miles / 68 kilometers. The Bike a little pricey currently @ $11,995.00 USD. That price is mostly for the batteries, so when battery price lowers the overall bike should also lower in price a little more. (If you consider It is costing only $5 USD to drive across the country that price, for the bike not that bad. )
Also note; You can get a goverment rebate for buying such a vehicle. Which will lower the cost by more. Each state varies in the tax credit amount you can save. (I see it is $3,500.00 in my state so this bike would cost me $8,495.00 after the tax credit. Cheaper than a new 2010 Harley Sportster.)
As Motorcycles go, the Brammo Enertia has no tailpipe or clutch. It is also silent. (no noise.) The no clutch has to be a odd feeling if you ride gas bikes, but that also means anyone could drive this.
BRAMMO Enertia power cycle, was formed in 2002 by Craig Bramscher. BRAMMO is headquartered in Ashland, Oregon - US
Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere.
This cross platform solution is absolute genius. Know how many times I been referencing for something saved the content as a pdf saved it to my machine and then tried to figure out where that info I found was located. With Evernote they fix this problem of finding info that you saved. They make it even simple to collect that info and manage it. Best of all you can collect the info from a smart phone, your desktop or the web. Best of all it free to use.
Tumbleweed houses - are very well designed tiny houses. My father is interested in building one of these for a beach house down in the golf of mexico, now that he is retired. Jay Shafer is the guy behind the tumbleweed design and he actually lives year round in this tiny house. Neat stuff.
